A Little Announcement

by

I started studying with the Institute for Functional Medicine in 2011.

The first module I did was Hormones and I was totally blown away by the calibre of the information and the way all the dots were being connected to find and address the underlying cause of the presenting problems. I was also absolutely thrilled to find myself in a room of several hundred people who were as inspired and excited by this information and the concept of thinking differently about approaching health problems, and restoring health instead of just managing symptoms. I had found my tribe.

In November last year, with a 5 week old baby in tow, I flew to Texas to complete my final module in the course. I submitted a case study and in April 2016 I sat the 4 hour written exam. After a nerve wracking 6 weeks, I was notified that I passed and I am proud to announce that I am now officially an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner. One of only 9 in the UK.
