Unexplained Illness. Autoimmune Disease.

Start your journey back to health

Sick and Tired of being sick and tired?

You’re not alone.

Many people come to work in this field because of their personal struggles with health. I was already a nutritionist when my own health bottomed out, but this experience has definitely shaped my practice, and driven my focus on autoimmune disease, complex cases, unexplained illness and all things gluten related. I discovered that there were a lot of other people out there who were in the same situation I was. People who were struggling with their health, or the health of their children, but couldn’t find any answers regarding why they were ill, or what to do about it. This was when I realized my mission in life: to share my knowledge in order to help people heal. In the beginning, this was mainly other people with Coeliac Disease, or Gluten-Reactive illness, but to my joy it has expanded out to include other complex cases and unexplained illnesses. I love to unravel the health stories and the biochemistry to get to the heart of the problem, and to help support nutritional and lifestyle changes that have the ability to transform people’s health. I will never stop learning, growing and searching for information, because my passion is to help as many people as possible, in as many ways as possible, all around the world. I have seen incredible changes in the health of my clients, and I hope to do the same for you.

    Autoimmune Disease

Autoimmune Disease is part of the rising tide of chronic illness affecting the developed world.

In an autoimmune illness, the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own tissue, creating inflammation, damaging and deforming tissues in the body, which leads to pain and loss of function. Any disease that results from this improper immune response is called an autoimmune disease. Here are some of the most common autoimmune diseases:

Traditional medical management of autoimmune disease is generally focused on using drugs to attempt to suppress symptoms of the over-active immune response and then eventually surgery to manage side effects from the drugs. There is a better way - addressing the underlying immune system disturbance. The best part about working with autoimmunity is that, because of it’s multi-factorial nature, rather than just relying on your doctor to adjust your medication, there is a lot that can be done to take back control of your health and improve the situation.

    Unexplained Illness

I can see the big picture. Let's unravel the mystery together!

In a medical system that is geared for acute illness, it can sometimes be difficult to get answers or help if you have a chronic condition. Poor health can be brewing for years or even decades before a diagnosis is possible, and the symptoms can be significant during that time, dramatically affecting health and quality of life.

It’s frustrating and upsetting to know there is something wrong, but to be told again and again that nothing more can be done, your tests are normal and there’s nothing wrong or that it’s in your head or caused by ‘stress’.

Well the good news is, that by approaching your health differently and looking to find the upstream cause of your illness or symptoms instead of focusing on the end diagnosis, it can be possible for you to join the dots, unpick the root causes and contributing factors and regain your health and quality of life.

If this is you, I can help.
