You’re not alone
Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired?
We are in the middle of a chronic illness crisis.
Robust, resilient health is not longer the norm. Autoimmune disease rates are rising rapidly in western countries alongside complaints like chronic fatigue, chroinic pain, recurrent infections, infertility and much more.
Unfortunately, our medical system is poorly equipped to deal with chronic illness and many people dont get the help or support they need.
Luckily, there is so much that you can do to change the trajectory of your health and improve your quality of life.
I have seen incredible changes in the health of my clients, and I hope to do the same for you.

4% of the World’s Population is affected by one of more than 80 Autoimmune Diseases
In an autoimmune illness, the immune system attacks the body’s own tissue, creating inflammation, damaging and deforming tissues in the body, which leads to pain and loss of function. Any disease that results from this immune ‘attack’ is called an autoimmune disease. Here are some of the most common autoimmune diseases:

Let’s unravel the mystery together!
In a medical system that is geared for acute illness, it can sometimes be difficult to get answers or help if you have a chronic condition. Poor health can be brewing for years or even decades before a diagnosis is possible, and the symptoms can be significant during that time, dramatically affecting health and quality of life.
It’s frustrating and upsetting to know there is something wrong, but to be told again and again that nothing more can be done, your tests are normal and there’s nothing wrong or that it’s in your head or caused by ‘stress’.
Well the good news is, that by approaching your health differently and looking to find the upstream cause of your illness or symptoms instead of focusing on the end diagnosis, it can be possible for you to join the dots, unpick the root causes and contributing factors and regain your health and quality of life.
If this is you, I can help.

Full Medical History
Before your first appointment, you will spend time pulling together your informaiton for me. Everything matters. Your family, trauma, your previous test results, where you’ve lived, what you’ve already tried. I have comprehensive forms to fill in and I also want to see any previous test results (yes, even if there are a LOT of them), previous protocols, diets and strategies. Everything helps to tell your story.
We are going to spend 90 minutes combing over every detail of your life. I’m going to ask you to tell me your WHOLE story, from your mothers pregnancy with you, through to present day and we’re going to walk through your timeline together to discover and connect the dots between all of the layers that have added together to lead to your current situation.

Functional + Investigative Testing
No two people’s illness is the same, even if their diagnosis is identical. Recognizing that everyone’s body, biochemistry and history is unique, is an important part of creating an intervention that really works. I work with the person with the problem, not just the problem itself. In order to better understand what is happening at the root of the symptoms or disease, I often use investigative testing.
Some of the tests that I use are the same as those used conventionally, although I may be looking at them a little differently, and some are only available privately.
Testing is not required for us to work together.
Implementation + Collaborative Work w/Team
Once we have a roadmap for working forwards, then we dive in to do the work! My team will be walking you through the implementation of your interventions and handholding you the whole way. We are always working together as a team; you, Rachel or Ingrid, and I.
